Home Learning Activity Ideas

Home Learning wb 1.6.20

Hello Class 1,

We hope that you have enjoyed half-term and have had a break from home learning. Hopefully you will have enjoyed some time in the sunshine as the weather has been beautiful.

This week I have changed the home learning format and it has a daily structure with phonics, Literacy, Maths and other ideas  - I hope you like it.

This week the planning is based around the book 'The Snail and the Whale' by Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler. I have recorded myself reading this story for you and it is saved in the sub-page 'Weekly story with Mrs Priestley'.

Please continue to send us lots of photos of your home learning as we love to see what you have been doing and your smiling faces that we miss so much!

Take care, look after each other and stay safe!

Lots of love, Mrs Priestley, Mrs Chapman and Miss Stafford xxx

Hello Class 1 Superstars,

We hope you are all still keeping safe and looking after each other. We are missing you so much but you really do make us smile when we see all of the amazing learning you are doing at home. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos too and seeing all of your friends and what they have been doing. We have attached a selection of home schooling activities for you to choose from again this week. Please choose what interests you and continue with your own ideas as they are brilliant! Our priority as always is that you and your families are safe, well and happy. Remember to make time to talk to each other and enjoy creating family memories together.

Lots of love, Mrs Priestley, Mrs Chapman and Miss Stafford xxx

Hello Class 1.

We hope you have had a lovely Easter and have enjoyed the sunshine and some chocolate!

We have uploaded a new 'home learning' activity sheet with lots of fun activity ideas so you can keep learning at home. Please continue to send us photos of all of the wonderful things you are doing at home - it really does make us smile. We hope that we will put a smile on your face too with Mrs Priestley's singing time and Mrs Chapman's story time.

Although new learning activities have been uploaded, please also continue with activities from the original sheet such as Reading Eggs, Polly's and Scrap's phonics on Espresso, key songs on YouTube, Oxford Owls, Go Noodle etc.

We know that things are very different at the moment but the most important thing is that you stay safe and enjoy time with your families. Make time to talk, play, have fun, learn and do things that you don't normally have time to do!

Take care, lots of love from Mrs Priestley, Mrs Chapman and Miss Stafford x x x
