Runathon Awards

We had so much fun doing Olympic activities!

21.6.21 We have had a visit from the Fire Brigade today and we learnt all about fire safety in the home and we got to see the Fire Engine too!

We enjoyed PE with Tom this morning!

Captain Chemistry visited us again and taught us all about bones and teeth!

We have enjoyed another fantastic session with Craig for our well-being morning!

Our butterflies emerged!

Over the half term holiday our butterflies came out of their cocoons! Mr Carrick kindly looked after them and released them when they were ready to fly!

We have also been making our own mini shelters using sticks, grass and leaves! We worked well in our teams to make them as waterproof as possible!

Today we have been working with Captain Chemistry and we have been learning about how to survive on a desert island! Captain Chemistry taught us how to make a fire and we all had a go making sure to follow the safety rules!

We have moved the cocoons to the butterfly net ready to emerge!

10.5.21 Today we have been practising skipping skills!

We have been learning about forces in Science and we explored which forces we use when playing with different toys! We thought about pushed and pulls and even gravity!

Caterpillar update! Our wriggly friends are growing fast and we are really enjoying watching them wriggling around every day!

Our caterpillars have arrived!! I will look after them and bring them to school on Tuesday!! Very exciting!!!

We have had a competition in class to decorate an Easter egg, here are our 3 winners!

We have been learning all about Palm Sunday

World languages week - learning Spanish phrases and a Bolivian dance

Super Science - During science week we did an investigation to see which paper would be the strongest to make a paper bridge!

We did our Christmas performance today, a video will be uploaded to YouTube and the link will be put on this page!

We are so grateful to Father Dermott and the Parish for our Family Christmas bags! We are looking forward to sharing them with our families!

Spike Bonzo’s show was full of laughs, magic tricks, marshmallow making and even a snowstorm!

Advent Prayers December 2020- We celebrated the beginning of Advent with a class liturgy. The children read beautifully, sang joyfully and were very respectful!

Children in Need 2020 - We have had lots of fun taking part in our class Dancethon and wearing our pyjamas and Pudsey clothes. We have also collected lots of food for the local food bank. Thank you to everyone for your donations.

We have been moving like creepy crawlies in PE today!

We have been learning about Remembrance this week, Alfie brought in a fantastic flag!
